Arrestan a un pedófilo que vivía escondido en el armario de una menor
El criminal de 36 años fue acusado de seis cargos relacionados con delitos sexuales.
La Policía del condado de Hernando, en Florida, Estados Unidos, arrestó a un hombre que vivía escondido por casi dos meses en el armario de una menor de edad para presuntamente abusar sexualmente de ella.
El individuo fue identificado como Johnathan Rossmoine, de 36 años, luego de ser descubierto por las autoridades, quienes llegaron a una casa tras el desesperado llamado de unos padres, que denunciaban la presencia de un desconocido en el dormitorio de su hija.
Los agentes encontraron al pedófilo escondido en el armario, lugar en el que había permanecido durante un mes y medio. De acuerdo a las autoridades, tras un presunto acto de manipulación, la víctima le llevaba comida y agua al agresor para que sus padres no se percataran de su presencia.
Tras su captura, el hombre confesó que viajó varias veces a la localidad de Spring Hill para abusar sexualmente de la adolescente de 15 años, y que, desde el 19 de agosto, había estado viviendo en el dormitorio de ella.
Según el reporte policial, los dos se conocieron a través de una red social, donde la menor le habría dicho que tenía 18 años, cuando en realidad bordea los 15. Por su parte, los padres de la adolescente se mostraron muy sorprendidos, ya que aseguraron que jamás imaginaron estar bajo el mismo techo con un criminal.
El acusado enfrenta seis cargos relacionados con delitos sexuales. Actualmente, está preso bajo una fianza de 25.000 dólares.
Las leyes en Florida sostienen que una persona de 23 años o menos puede tener relaciones sexuales de forma consensuada con menores de 16 años o más. No obstante, después de que el adulto cumple 24, esta conducta es considerada un “delito grave”, según el Código de Florida.
