Balacera en Cartago cobró la vida de un padre de cinco hijos menores de edad
El hombre falleció en el hospital hospital Max Peralta de Cartago.
La balacera reportada la noche de este jueves 21 de setiembre al ser aproximadamente las 10:00pm, en la Urbanización Garabito de San Nicolás de Cartago, cobró la vida de uno de los dos hombres que resultaron heridos en dicho incidente.
De acuerdo con el nuevo reporte de las autoridades los hombres fueron atacado a balazos y heridos cuando viajaban a bordo de un vehículo en las inmediaciones de dicha urbanización.
“Dos hombres iban a bordo de un vehículo cuando fueron interceptados por dos sujetos en motocicleta, quienes les dispararon en múltiples ocasiones”, detalló el Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ).
Sin embargo, horas después de haber ingresado al centro médico uno de los pacientes fue declarado fallecido; este fue identificado por el OIJ como Relly Fabricio Valverde Cerdas, de 27 años, y quien era vecino de Quircot.
Asimismo, trascendió que Valverde era padre de cinco hijos, todos menores en edades entre los uno y nueve años.
Este hecho sin duda que es una muestra de la terrible situación de violencia que enfrenta Costa Rica, en lo que llevamos del 2023 las autoridades ya contabilizan más de 650 personas asesinadas sobre el territorio nacional, en la provincia de Cartago se contabilizan más de 46 a la fecha.
En cuanto al incidente que cobró la vida de este hombre, se desconoce el móvil, el caso se mantiene bajo investigaciones de los agentes del OIJ quienes trabajan en esclarecer los hechos.
