¡De aplaudir! 1033 estudiantes iniciaron el 2023 cursando el Bachillerato Internacional
Son 20 los centros educativos que ofrecerán esta modalidad de estudio.
Este jueves 9 de febrero, la primera dama, Signe Zeikate, y la ministra de Educación, Anna Katharina Müller Castro, compartieron con los jóvenes del Liceo de Puriscal, quienes forman parte del Programa de Bachillerato Internacional del Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP).
En total son 1.033 estudiantes de 20 colegios del país iniciaron este 2023, con la ilusión de cursar esta modalidad de estudio.
En cuanto a la actividad a la que asistieron la primera dama y la ministra de Educación, fue 100% bilingüe.
“Los estudiantes hablaron de sus talentos, expectativas, oportunidades y sueños con las jerarcas, logrando un acercamiento e intercambio de experiencias para la expresión y el diálogo”, agregó el MEP en el comunicado.
Por su parte la ministra de educación, aseguró sentirse orgullosa de ver como los estudiantes manejan una segunda lengua con fluidez.
“Es para mí un profundo motivo de orgullo el sostener este conversatorio en inglés con algunos de los 839 estudiantes de esta institución que manejan una segunda lengua con fluidez. Esto es lo que queremos para toda Costa Rica”, expresó ministra Müller.
Además, entre los beneficios de esta modalidad de estudio están que cuenta con el reconocimiento de prestigiosas universidades en todo el mundo.
