Dueño de MECO, Carlos Cerdas, queda en libertad tras pagar fianza de $5 millones
Propietario de constructora pasó 14 días en las celdas judiciales.
Minutos antes de las 6:00 p.m. de este lunes el propietario de la constructora MECO, Carlos Cerdas, fue liberado a cambio de una fianza de cinco millones de dólares.
Cerdas fue detenido el pasado lunes 14 de junio por el caso “Cochinilla” en el que se investiga a funcionarios del Gobierno y de empresas privadas por la supuesta malversación de fondos destinados a la construcción de obra pública.
Como medio de pago, Cerdas habría presentado una garantía hipotecaria con propiedades como caución real con bienes que se encuentren valorados en el monto que se solicitó.
Cerdas ha sido señalado en la investigación por el caso “Cochinilla” como uno de los aparentes líderes de una organización que pagaba sobornos para ganar licitaciones del Consejo Nacional de Vialidad (Conavi) además se le ha señalado presuntamente por pactar con la constructora H.Solís para apropiarse las licitaciones nacionales.
