Tommy, el héroe canino, regresa a casa después de salvar a su dueño de un asalto
Al perrito de raza American Stafford le tuvieron que amputar una de sus patitas.
Tommy, el perrito de raza American Stafford que fue baleado por un delincuente mientras defendía a su dueño de un asalto en Tibás regresó a su casa.
Al peludito lo dieron de alta la noche del miércoles, luego de ser intervenido tras el ataque. La bala que recibió le provocó la amputación de una de sus patitas delanteras.
Pamela Rodríguez, dueña de Tommy, declaró a Noticias Repretel que el perrito se recupera satisfactoriamente.
“Él ha salido muy fuerte, muy valiente con todo esto. Sí con un poquito de trauma porque vieras que a la hora de dormir le cuesta mucho. La recuperación va bien, la herida la tiene seca ahí se la hemos estado limpiando, las pastillitas y él está como si no le hubiera pasado nada la verdad porque él quiere correr, él quiere brincar, come como si nada hubiera pasado. Es un héroe, la verdad es que fue muy valiente lo que él hizo”, comentó Rodríguez.
Tommy, logró salvar a su amo, Erick. cuando paseaba por una calle de Tibás el pasado sábado 14 de enero a las 10:00 p.m. Dos delincuentes, a bordo de una motocicleta, quisieron asaltar al hombre y el can se abalanzó hacia uno de ellos. El perrito recibió un disparo en la pata delantera y provocó que se la amputaran.
“Se extrajo la pieza total, él no tiene nada ahí porque los doctores dicen que el mínimo pedacito que ellos dejen él va a querer moverlo porque va a sentir el movimiento, entonces tuvieron que amputar completamente todo. Él ahorita va a necesitar por lo menos 15 días de recuperación así, más los días de terapia porque va a tener que ir a terapia, una terapia que les dan por el daño psicológico y la terapia física”, agregó Pamela.
La dueña del héroe canino aseguró sentirse impresionada por la reacción que tuvo Tommy, ya que es un perrito muy tranquilo.
“Es algo que ni él (dueño), ni yo, ni nadie lo cree todavía la reacción de él porque es un perro tranquilo, pero nadie pensó que en ese momento él fuera a reaccionar así”, dijo.
Ahora, Tommy, deberá usar una andadera para transportarse con comodidad.
