Sarapiquí: Hombre muere en los brazos de su esposa tras ser baleado
Panadero se defendió de robo y sujeto le propinó seis disparos.
Un hombre perdió la vida delante de su esposa luego de que un hombre armado lo asesinara a balazos.
El hecho ocurrió frente al súper El Dólar, en Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí.
La victima fue identificada como Jean Carlos Badilla Loáiciga, de 33 años.
Según informó Diario Extra, Badilla era un reconocido panadero originario de Hatillo, pero por motivos de competitividad en su pueblo decidió trasladarse a Sarapiquí junto con su esposa y sus dos hijos menores en busca de un mejor futuro.
En su nueva casa destinó un espacio para los hornos con los que preparaba el pan.
De manera extraoficial, agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) declararon a Extra que antes de morir, el panadero defendió su negocio de un hombre que pretendió robarle.
La hipótesis que manejan las autoridades es que ese hombre podría estar relacionado con el fallecimiento de Badilla ya que antes del fatal desenlace recibió una paliza por parte del comerciante.
El asesinato
Una cámara de vigilancia captó el instante en el que Badilla salió del supermercado y se quedó conversando con otra persona afuera del comercio.
Minutos después, un gatillero que iba en motocicleta se bajó, caminó cerca de donde estaba Badilla, a 2 metros sacó el arma y la accionó en al menos 6 ocasiones.
Tras los primeros impactos, el panadero se regresó corriendo al súper, pero el gatillero lo siguió para liquidarlo.
Finalmente, Badilla agonizó y murió en brazos de su esposa.
Un hombre tranquilo y un padre amoroso
Carolina Zúñiga, cuñada de Jean Carlos Badilla, manifestó a Extra que el hoy occiso era una persona muy tranquila y amigable.
Zúñiga contó que el panadero y la esposa se fueron de San José para iniciar una nueva historia.
“Ellos llegaron a Sarapiquí, buscando un lugar diferente. Todo empezó por mi mamá, ella quería irse ahí, entonces ellos se quedaron con una casa que mami le había gustado para vivir ahí”, manifestó.
Carolina recordó que su cuñado siempre fue un padre presente en la vida de sus hijos.
“Él pasaba pendiente de los chiquillos, los llevaba a la escuela, los traía. Siempre hacía todo por ellos. Se levantaba primero a las 4:00 a.m. para hacer el pan. No entiendo qué fue lo que pasó”, recordó la mujer.
Mientras que los familiares exigen justicia, las autoridades continúan con la investigación del caso.
