¡Qué preocupante! Se robaron un cloro altamente tóxico del AyA en Puntarenas
Este cloro puede causar incluso la muerte.
La tarde de este lunes 22 de mayo, Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AyA), confirmó que sufrieron el robo de un cloro altamente tóxico, esto en el campo de pozos de río Barranca en Puntarenas.
De acuerdo con las autoridades este potente cloro, puede causar hasta la muerte en altas concentraciones.
Según indicó el AyA, el robo se dio cuando sustrajeron un cilindro de gas cloro, que es utilizado para tratar el agua que se consume para que esta sea potable.
“Solicitamos a las personas que conozcan su paradero, no tocar por ninguna circunstancia el cilindro y llamar de inmediato a las autoridades (9-1-1) para que sea manipulado correctamente”, indicó el AyA.
En cuanto al robo, la institución expresó que ya activaron el protocolo de emergencia e informó de la situación a los cuerpos de socorro y las autoridades correspondientes para que estén al tanto de cualquier situación que se pueda presentar.
Por otra parte, el AyA, para la tranquilidad de las personas aseguró que este robo no compromete la calidad del agua que se consuma, pero si insistieron que la manipulación por personas sin el cocimiento adecuando puede ser sumamente peligroso.
