Policía de Control Fiscal incauta 10 millones de cigarros en Puntarenas
También se decomisó un contenedor que provenía de Panamá.
Un cargamento de 10 millones de cigarros sin los correspondientes permisos de comercialización fue decomisado por la Policía de Control Fiscal (PCF) este martes en la Aduana de Caldera, Puntarenas.
En el sitio también se incautó un contenedor que provenía de Panamá.
Esta acción se realizó gracias al trabajo coordinado entre la Unidad de Control de Contenedores de Costa Rica y Panamá.
De acuerdo con la PCF, adscrita al Ministerio de Hacienda, la documentación presentada por esta mercancía era diferente a la que encontraron los oficiales.
Todo lo incautado fue remitido a un almacén de depósito fiscal y puesto a las órdenes del Ministerio Público.
“Este proceso se encuentra en investigación por lo que no debe brindar más detalles al respecto”, manifestó la oficina de prensa la cartera de Hacienda.
