Lluvias de las últimas horas en Puntarenas dejan más de 100 personas rescatadas
La CNE habilitó tres albergues temporales.
Las lluvias que se han presentado en las últimas horas sobre el Pacífico Central del país han causado estragos y según detalló la Comisión Nacional de Emergencias (CNE) a raíz de las mismas más de 100 personas han tenido que ser rescatadas.
“A esta hora hemos rescatado a más de 100 personas y mantenemos operaciones en el sitio para rescatar a al menos 30 personas más”, informó la CNE en un comunicado oficial.
De acuerdo con dicho reporte, entre esas personas están más de 40 que iban a bordo de sus vehículos en la Ruta 1 a la altura del kilómetro 84 donde el río Naranjo se desbordó dejándolos atrapados en la carretera.
Por otra parte, la CNE, indicó que también realizaron la habilitación de tres albergues temporales ubicados en: la Escuela de Riojalandia en Barranca, en el gimnasio de la escuela de Santa Rosa de Miramar y el tercero en el salón comunal de El Roble-Puntarenas, en este último se estarían atendiendo a las personas evacuadas de los vehículos afectados.
En dichos operativos por estas emergencias han participado 14 ambulancias, tres vehículos de rescate, cuatro vehículos operativos y más de 40 socorristas.
