Heredia: Tras ser arrestado fallece sospechoso de asesinar a puñaladas a hombre
El imputado se entregó a las autoridades, se desvaneció en la celda policial y minutos después murió.
El Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) reportó la muerte de un hombre que fue atacado a puñaladas en abdomen y espalda por otro sujeto en San Joaquín de Flores, Heredia.
La víctima mortal del ataque fue identificada como Ely Torres Ortega, de 45 años.
De acuerdo con las autoridades Torres habría sido interceptado por un hombre de apellido Morales, de 52 años, en plena vía pública y sin mediar palabra alguna, supuestamente, lo atacó con un arma blanca.
“Le ocasionó heridas en abdomen y luego en la espalda, siendo que posteriormente Morales ingresa a su casa y luego se entrega a los oficiales de la policía administrativa”, indicó el OIJ.
Morales fue trasladado a la celdas de la Fuerza Pública de la localidad. Minutos después de haber sido ingresado el presunto agresor presentó problemas de salud por lo que fue trasladado de urgencia al hospital San Vicente de Paul donde falleció.
Ambos cuerpos fueron remitidos al Complejo de Ciencias Forenses, ubicado en el cantón de Flores, para que se les realice la respectiva autopsia.
Las autoridades investigan los motivos del asesinato de Torres, así como las causas que mediaron en el fallecimiento de Morales.
