(Fotos) Goicoechea: Comerciantes hacían pasar carne de caballo como de res
Personeros de SENASA descubrieron un microbús que transportaba 146 kilos de carne de bovino.
Escrupulosos carniceros, en Goicoechea, estaban ofreciendo carne de caballo haciendo creer a los clientes que era carne de res.
Así lo dio a conocer el Servicio Nacional de Salud Animal (SENASA) por medio de una publicación en sus redes sociales.
“La Dirección Metropolitana de SENASA en coordinación con Fuerza Pública incautaron un total de 146.5 kilogramos de carne de equino de dudosa procedencia que era transportada a una carnicería ubicada en Goicochea que la tenía a la venta como carne de bovino”, indicó la entidad.
La carne de caballo era transportada en un microbús que no contaba con las medidas de inocuidad necesarias como de higiene, empaque y refrigeración, por mencionar algunas, esto aumenta el riesgo en caso de ser consumida.
La entidad indicó que se desconoce la procedencia de la carne.
De acuerdo con SENASA, la carne de caballo está autorizada para ser consumida por las personas siempre y cuando esta provenga de una planta de sacrificio autorizada y se expenda en una carnicería, haciéndose de conocimiento del consumidor que es carne de caballo.
