De esta manera operaban los sospechosos de asaltar y asesinar a choferes de plataformas
Los sospechosos quedaron detenidos este viernes tras una serie de allanamientos.
Tras una serie de allanamientos realizados la mañana de este viernes 21 de abril en Heredia y Alajuela, agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) lograron desarticular una banda que se dedicaba a asaltar y asesinar a conductores de plataformas de transporte.
Dicha banda estaba conformada por cuatro hombres y dos mujeres, quienes fueron detenidos tras las intervenciones de las autoridades.
En cuanto al modo de operar, el director interino del OIJ, Randall Zúñiga, reveló cual sería el método que utilizaban estas personas para acercarse a sus víctimas.
Según detallaron las autoridades lo primero que hacían los sospechosos era que uno de ellos solicitaba un servicio normal a través de alguna de las aplicaciones y durante el trayecto conversaban con el conductor hasta convencerlo de que les proporcionara su número de teléfono personal, para en otras ocasiones contratar sus servicios de manera privada.
Las autoridades por su parte le atribuyen a esta banda al menos cuatro homicidios ocurridos en los últimos 30 días.
Por su parte, las autoridades hacen un llamado a la ciudadania a mantenerse alerta cuando utilizan los servicios y en especial a los conductores a que no compartan su información personal con los usuarios, y de notar cualquier situación extraña no duda en dar aviso a las autoridades.
