Chofer involucrado en mortal accidente en Guanacaste, manejaba bajo los efectos del alcohol
El accidente ocurrido en Brasilito de Santa Cruz, cobró la vida de una persona.
Este viernes las autoridades brindaron más detalles acerca del accidente de tránsito ocurrido la noche de este jueves 4 de mayo, al ser pasadas las 8:30pm, en Brasilito de Santa Cruz, Guanacaste.
De acuerdo con el reporte del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), el chofer del vehículo involucrado en el incidente, y quien fue identificado con el apellido Rodríguez y de 37 años, iba conduciendo bajo los efectos del alcohol.
En dicho accidente, murió un joven de 27 años de nacionalidad salvadoreña, identificado como José Iván Salazar Salguero, quien iba de acompañante en el vehículo conducido por Rodríguez.
De acuerdo con el OIJ, el chofer del vehículo perdió el control de este y se salió de la vía, colisionando contra una alcantarilla.
Producto del fuerte impacto, Salazar murió en el sitio del accidente, además, también fueron atendidos otros tres pacientes, dos requirieron ser trasladados a una clínica en Filadelfia y uno a un centro médico en Santa Cruz.
En cuanto al conductor, las autoridades no indicaron el nivel de alcohol que dio como resultado, pero sí que se encuentra con custodia policial en un hospital en Liberia.
Una vez que se le de la salida del centro médico, Rodríguez será remitido al Ministerio Público, para que se le aplique el debido proceso, mismo que está bajo investigación del OIJ de Santa Cruz.
