Caen dos oficiales por formar parte de banda que prestaba dinero y torturaba a los que no pagaban
En total las autoridades detuvieron 10 personas, entre ellos los dos uniformados, un ex oficial y el líder de la aparente banda.
Este viernes 30 de junio, en horas de la mañana agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) de Puntarenas, realizaron 10 allanamientos para desarticular una banda sospechosa de prestar dinero mediante el método gota a gota y de torturar a sus clientes si presentaban problemas a la hora del pago.
Dichas intervenciones se realizaron en varios sectores de Puntarenas como en Esparza, Miramar, El Roble y el barrio Fray Casiano, y las mismas dejaron un total de 10 personas detenidas, nueve hombres y una mujer, entre los que figuran el líder de la agrupación y dos oficiales de la Fuerza Pública, un exuniformado y dos supuestos gatilleros.
En cuanto a la agrupación en apariencia tenía una supuesta financiera en el sector de Esparza, y para recuperar los dineros prestados cobraban utilizando la violencia.
Los sospechosos se les investiga por privaciones de libertad agravada, tentativas de homicidio y, además, de por lavado de dinero, esto debido a que las autoridades no descartan que el dinero que manejaban fuera resultado del narcotráfico.
Todos los detenidos fueron puestos en manos de la Fiscalía donde determinarán la situación jurídica de cada uno.
