Apareció Cassidy Yulexy Vega, la joven reportada como desaparecida el pasado lunes
El OIJ descartó retención de la joven por un hombre que viajaba a bordo de una motocicleta.
El Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) informó este miércoles en horas de la tarde que Cassidy Yulexy Vega Castillo, de 16 años, fue localizada con vida.
La joven fue reportada como desaparecida el lunes anterior tras salir de su casa en Parasito de Santo Domingo, en Heredia, para dirigirse al Liceo Experimental Bilingüe La Trinidad, ubicado en Moravia. Sin embargo, no llegó ni al centro de estudios ni regresó a su vivienda.
Kevin Castillo, tío de la colegiala, declaró al periódico La Nación que un hombre la habría mantenido retenida en su casa en Cinco Esquinas de Tibás.
Castillo indicó que este hombre aseguró desde un principio desconocer el paradero de la muchacha: “Claramente todo era mentira, él sabía dónde estaba, él la tenía y estaba con ella; básicamente él nos estaba ocultando la información de lo que sabía”, dijo.
Pero luego la oficina de prensa del OIJ señaló que en la investigación no se determinó que el sujeto hubiera retenido a la menor y que, más bien, se presume que ella se habría ido con él por su propia voluntad.
“Sin embargo, en apariencia la mamá de la joven alegaba que no fue así y que el hombre se la habría llevado a la fuerza”, indicó la oficina de prensa.
Castilló informó al medio que su sobrina se encuentra en buen estado de salud.
“Se encuentra un poco en shock, no ha hablado mucho con nosotros. Lo único que ha hecho es llorar porque está asustada, pero gracias a Dios ella está bien aquí con nosotros”, comentó.
