11 personas resultaron heridas tras vuelco de bus en Los Chiles de Alajuela
En el autobús viajaban unas 60 personas quienes en apariencia serían extranjeros.
La madrugada de este jueves 20 de julio, se reportó un aparatoso accidente de tránsito en el sector de los Los Chiles de Alajuela, que dejó como saldo once personas heridas.
Según trascendió, un autobús en el que viajaban unas 60 personas aproximadamente y quienes en apariencia serían extranjeros (venezolanos) que se dirigían hacia la frontera norte en una unidad de la empresa Transportes Costarricenses Panameños (Tracopa) se volcó.
Este aparatoso incidente ocurrió al ser pasadas las 3:40am, en Los Chiles, específicamente en el sector de Chalupa, 500 metros al sur del puente Hernández.
“Al ser las 3:50am, fuimos despachados para la atención del vuelco de un autobús en el sector de Los Chiles. Al llegar al lugar se confirma el vuelco de un autobús fuera de la vía, aproximadamente a unos dos metros. Este con una capacidad aproximada de unos 60 a 65 migrantes”, detalló la Cruz Roja.
Asimismo, se indicó que entre los heridos en dicha colisión estaba el conductor del bus, quien, al parecer, se encontraba en condición crítica, mientras que las otras diez personas también requerían atención urgente por lo que fueron llevadas al centro médico de la zona.
En cuanto a los motivos que originaron el accidente, se indicó que en apariencia el conductor del bus perdió el control del volante, lo que provocó que se saliera de la carretera.
Afortunadamente en el sector donde cayó el bus habían árboles que impidieron que este siguiera cayendo por la pendiente.
Este accidente se reporta un día después de otro que ocurrió de igual manera en Los Chiles, donde un carro tipo “pick up” en el que viajaban 11 personas se volcó en un puente y dejó vidas que lamentar.
