TSE: Primeros resultados electorales se conocerán a las 9:00 p.m.
La entidad actualizará de forma periódica la información sobre el resultado electoral hasta el mediodía de este lunes 7 de febrero.
Pese a que las 6847 juntas receptoras de votos abiertas a lo largo y ancho del país cerrarán sus puertas a las 6:00 p.m. el primer corte con los resultados de las elecciones presidenciales se conocerá hasta las 9:00 p.m.
El Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones (TSE) tiene previsto iniciar con la sesión solemne este 6 de febrero a las 8:45 p.m.
A esa hora se espera que la magistrada Eugenia Zamora, presidenta del alto Tribunal, brinde su discurso al país en el que resumirá las incidencias de la jornada electoral para elegir al cuadragésimo noveno presidente de Costa Rica o bien a las dos candidaturas que pasarán a la segunda ronda electoral y a los diputados que conformarán la Asamblea Legislativa para el siguiente periodo.
15 minutos después de comenzada la sesión solemne el TSE espera dar a conocer los primeros resultados de los comicios.
El proceso de la información electoral será más lento en esta elección por varias razones informaron las autoridades del TSE, entre ellas la cantidad de partidos políticos inscritos que es mayor a la de otras contiendas electorales, además de la pandemia de la covid-19 que ha cambiado el panorama. También hay una considerable cantidad de fiscales.
Personeros del TSE informaron que implementarán tres mecanismos para la transmisión de datos desde las juntas receptoras.
En cada junta habrá un encargado de la transmisión de datos de las elecciones, lo realizará por medio de certificados digitales después de que concluya el conteo provisional de votos.
Para ello se dispondrá de una aplicación móvil no pública en 350 teléfonos inteligentes que permitirá la transmisión de resultado provisional del 55% de las juntas.
Otro 8% de los resultados de las juntas receptoras se transmitirá por medio de un sistema de equipos de cómputo del TSE enlazados de forma directa a una red segura.
También, el TSE habilitará para la transmisión de datos un centro de llamadas en el que trabajarán 166 personas. Los operadores recopilarán un 37 % de los resultados de las juntas.
Luego de la entrega del primer corte a las 9:00 p.m. el TSE actualizará de forma periódica la información sobre el resultado electoral hasta el mediodía de este lunes 7 de febrero.
Luego de finalizado el proceso de votación, el Tribunal empezará a recibir las tulas con las papeletas utilizadas en el proceso.
Después los magistrados procederán al conteo manual de los votos emitidos y harán la declaratoria de la candidatura ganadora o bien anunciarán la realización de una segunda ronda por la presidencia de la República.
