Presidente Chaves revela la verdadera razón por la que se inhabilitó Parque Viva
El mandatario indicó que se trata de una “suspensión temporal” y no de un cierre.
Durante la conferencia de prensa posterior al Consejo de Gobierno de este miércoles el presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, se refirió sobre la suspensión del permiso sanitario de funcionamiento del Parque Viva, centro de eventos propiedad de Grupo Nación que se encuentra ubicado en La Guácima de Alajuela.
“La notificación entregada al Parque Viva dice que es una suspensión temporal y que les corresponde preparar un plan remedial de algo que tuvieron que remediar desde hace más de una década. No es el Ministerio de Salud el que manda la orden, solo recibió una recomendación de la gente uniformada para proteger a la población y a las comunidades”, explicó el mandatario.
“Han tenido cinco años desde que ellos mismos reconocieron que había niveles de riesgos inaceptables. Es urgente porque hay vidas de por medio. Yo me voy a dormir todas las noches con la conciencia tranquila porque estoy haciendo lo posible para que bajo mi mandato no se muera una niña o un anciano por falta de una ambulancia”, agregó.
El presidente Chaves manifestó además que: “Nadie se puede explicar cómo les entregaron los permisos sin la planificación vial para eventos masivos en violación de la Ley. Nosotros estamos solicitando el expediente a la Municipalidad de Alajuela para ver cómo les dieron los permisos”.
Hector Chaves, director del Benemérito Cuerpo de Bomberos, expresó su “apoyo vehemente” a la decisión.
“Los riesgos existen, tenemos que buscar la forma de minimizarlos. Estamos hablando de salvar vidas. El tema acá es el acceso. Los criterios son técnicos. Los que conocen la situación en los conciertos saben que es imposible que una unidad de Bomberos pueda asistir a una situación de emergencia en el evento, y por eso nuestro criterio es que hasta que no se solucione el tema del acceso, las actividades masivas no deben realizarse», indicó el director de Bomberos.
