Policías contarán con seguro ampliado que los cubrirá fuera de horario laboral
Cuando, por diversas acciones, tengan que actuar en defensa de la ciudadanía sin importar que se encuentren fuera del horario de trabajo.
Los diputados de la Comisión Legislativa Plena Primera aprobaron, este jueves en primer debate, un proyecto que reforma la Ley General de la Policía ampliando la cobertura de seguro de los oficiales 24/7, cuando por diversas razones tengan que actuar en defensa de la ciudadanía sin importar que estén fuera de horario laboral en función de su compromiso y entrenamiento como oficiales de Fuerza Pública.
El proyecto, que se expone bajo el expediente 20.920, fue presentado por el diputado Harllan Hoepelman del bloque Nueva República.
El legislador aseguró que con esta propuesta se salda una deuda histórica con los oficiales de policía de la Fuerza Pública.
“Cuando por diversas acciones tengan que actuar en defensa de la ciudadanía sin importar que estén fuera de horario laboral en función de su compromiso y entrenamiento como oficiales de la Fuerza Pública. Este proyecto contó con el apoyo y el dictamen unánime de los compañeros de la Comisión de Seguridad y Narcotráfico”, indicó el legislador fabricista a Noticias Monumental.
“Yo creo que esto es un gran avance para los oficiales de Fuerza Pública y se los debíamos hace mucho tiempo yo espero que así como tuvo un dictamen unánime el segundo debate sea igual, tengamos un apoyo tremendo para este proyecto de ley que es muy importante para Fuerza Pública. Agradecerle a todos los compañeros el apoyo y esperamos que muy pronto sea ley de la República”, agregó.
Por su parte, Mainor Anchía, representante de la seccional ANEP-Fuerza Pública, celebró el avance de la iniciativa.
“Este es un proyecto que trabajamos en conjunto entre la seccional de la Fuerza Pública en ANEP y el despacho del diputado Harlan Hoepelman. Ahora esperamos que se le de aprobación en segundo debate y que se materialice lo antes posible. Esto es de verdad algo muy importante y esperamos que en adelante se sigan reconociendo los derechos de las personas que integran los cuerpos policiales”, manifestó Anchía a Monumental.
El proyecto queda pendiente de su aprobación en segundo debate.
