Multimedios podría cambiar de dueño y acá le contamos quién sería el nuevo “mandamás”
El empresario confirmó que un acercamiento con los dueños de Multimedios.
Tal parece que en cualquier momento Multimedios podría cambiar de dueño y el nuevo “mandamás” de Canal 8, sería una persona bastante querida y conocida en nuestro país.
Se trata del empresario David Patey, dueño de Trivisión canal 36.
Si bien de momento solo es un rumor y nada es oficial, desde hace varios días se ha especulado que el empresario estadounidenses estaría en negociaciones importantes con las jefaturas de Multimedios, con el objetivo de convertirse en el nuevo dueño del canal ubicado en la Sabana.
Patey conversó con el medio AMPrensa, y les contó que fueron los mexicanos quienes lo contentaron él.
“Uno siempre tiene que hablar con la verdad. Los mexicanos de Multimedios me contactaron para ver si me interesaba comprar canal 5, y yo les dije vacilando ¿y el 8 qué? ¿Cuánto cuesta? Y ellos y ellos me preguntaron que sí realmente me interesa y eso generó una conversación, pero todo inició por canal 5 que también es de ellos”, dijo Patey al medio.
De momento no se sabe si finalmente el empresario comprará o no el canal, pero cabe destacar que Multimedios llegó a Costa Rica en el 2015 y desde entonces se ha caracterizado por ser un un canal de no tan alta audiencia, pero en también hay que decir que la empresa a logrado competir con Teletica y Repretel, como por ejemplo en la parte deportiva, con “Tigo Sports”.
En cuanto a Patey, expresó que le gustaría tener otro medio de comunicación.
“A mi sí me gustaría tener más medios de comunicación”, expresó David al medio.
Con respecto a Multimedios desde hace meses se vienen dando cambios en la empresa y muchas operaciones ya no son manejadas en Costa Rica y sino desde la casa matriz en México.
Así que es cuestión de tiempo para darnos cuenta si Patey será o no el nuevo dueño de Canal 8.
