Ministro Amador aclara: vehículos con dos faltas graves no tendrán que salir remolcados de Dekra
El jerarca comentó que un error en la redacción del decreto generó confusión.
El ministro de Obras Públicas y Transportes (MOPT), Luis Amador, aclaró que los vehículos que reporten dos faltas graves en la inspección vehicular no tendrán que salir remolcados por una grúa de las instalaciones de Dekra.
El jerarca de Transportes reconoció, por medio de un video, que hubo un error en la redacción del decreto firmado por él y por el mandatario de la República, Rodrigo Chaves y aseguró que será corregido de inmediato.
Amador explicó que los únicos vehículos que tendrían que ser remolcados serían los que cuenten con “faltas peligrosas”.
“El término falta grave fue incluido por error, eso es algo que se está eliminando el día de hoy (martes 1 de noviembre para el lector) mediante una fe de erratas. Eso implicó que se creyera que los vehículos debían de salir en plataformas o grúas si tenían faltas graves, eso no es cierto”, indicó el ministro.
“El marchamo vigente del año actual hace que el vehículo todavía sea apto para circular, el marchamo que están sacando es del año que sigue y que empieza en el mes que les toca la inspección. Hay un decreto que da entre uno y tres meses de amnistía, lo cual significa que en el peor de los casos tienen un mes en el que todavía pueden circular y después del cual ya no pueden, para que puedan ir y arreglen el vehículo”, agregó.
Amador añadió además que: “Una falta peligrosa, que es la sí debió haber quedado consignada en el decreto y es la que va a quedar consignada cuando se corrija, se refiere a elementos muy serios como, por ejemplo, fugas en el sistema de frenado, fugas en el líquido de la dirección hidráulica, frenos que no funcionan, motores que no están bien agarrados del chasis y fugas en el sistema de combustible que puedan hacer que un vehículo se prenda, por citar algunos ejemplo, esa es la confusión que quisiera aclarar”.
