Marchamo 2023 tendrá rebaja de entre ₡500 y ₡3.500 para el 83 % de dueños de vehículos
Esta variación en el precio del derecho de circulación se verá reflejada a partir del 6 de diciembre.
El presidente de la República, Rodrigo Chaves Robles, anunció este miércoles que el derecho de circulación 2023, mejor conocido como el marchamo, tendrá una rebaja de entre ₡500 y ₡3.500 para el 83 % de dueños de vehículos.
El mandatario indicó que ante los reclamos de los usuarios, se hizo una revisión de la fórmula y se utilizó el índice de precios al consumidor de septiembre y no el de agosto, como se hizo inicialmente.
“Para la fórmula de cálculo se usó el índice de precios al consumidor de agosto, que fue uno de los meses con el valor más alto, lo cual estaba afectando a los usuarios. Es por esto que el Gobierno tomó la determinación de utilizar otro valor del índice de precios al consumidor, correspondiente al mes de septiembre de 2022, que resulta ser más bajo”, informó Casa Presidencial en un comunicado.
La aplicación del índice de agosto había provocado un aumento de 2,13 % en el valor fiscal del vehículo de los costarricenses.
“Con este ajuste todos los marchamos bajarán y un 83 % de los vehículos verían disminuciones en el monto de entre ₡500 y ₡3.500. Esta variación en el precio del marchamo se verá reflejada a partir del 6 de diciembre”, agrega el boletín de Presidencia.
¿Y qué pasará con los conductores que ya cancelaron su derecho de circulación?
Cabe destacar que el Ministerio de Hacienda y el Instituto Nacional de Seguros (INS) levantaron la lista de las 120 mil personas que ya realizaron el pago del marchamo 2023.
Estas personas podrán solicitar el reembolso ante la cartera de Hacienda, a través de una aplicación que permitirá dicha devolución en un periodo de cuatro días hábiles.
Esta herramienta estará disponible a partir del martes 13 de diciembre.
“Le vamos a devolver una parte de su plata”, recalcó Chaves.
