Las procesiones vuelven a las calles para la Semana Santa de 2022
Los actos de culto externo y todas las celebraciones que hacen uso de la vía pública como las procesiones están suspendidos desde el inicio de la pandemia de la covid-19.
El Ministerio de Salud autorizó que los actos de culto externo y todas las celebraciones que hacen uso de la vía pública como las procesiones regresen a las calles gracias a la bajada de la incidencia y a la mejora de los datos de contagio de covid-19 en el país.
Así lo dio a conocer en una publicación diario La Teja, quien tras consultar a la cartera de Salud sobre el tema recibió la siguiente respuesta: “Las autoridades religiosas definirán las actividades a realizarse para dicha fecha. Desde el Gobierno, para el mes de abril no existiría restricción vehicular ni limitaciones de aforo”.
Este año la Semana Santa inicia el domingo 10 de abril y culmina el 17 del mismo mes.
Por otro lado, el Miércoles de Ceniza, que marca el inicio de la Cuaresma, se celebrará el 3 de marzo.
Pese a la declaración de la entidad al rotativo en la página web del Ministerio de Salud las procesiones continúan siendo parte de los eventos suspendidos por riesgo sanitario.
“Las medidas publicadas en la página del ministerio de Salud se actualizan según fecha de vigencia, próximamente se estarán publicando las vigentes para marzo y abril con las aperturas definidas para cada uno de esos meses”, explicó la entidad a La Teja.
Ante la ausencia de una pronunciamiento oficial la Conferencia Episcopal de Costa Rica solicitó al ente rector en Salud la autorización para realizar las procesiones en Semana Santa luego de dos años de haberse suspendido.
“El día 22 de febrero se envió una carta al doctor Daniel Salas, ministro de Salud, informando que la Iglesia católica estaba preparada para realizar las procesiones de la Semana Santa de este año 2022 con todas las medidas sanitarias para cuidar la salud de los fieles en cuanto a aforos y uso de mascarillas.
“Sin embargo, después de escuchar la conferencia de prensa (realizada por el Gobierno el 23 de febrero) y revisar la página de actualizaciones sanitarias de la Presidencia de la República nos damos cuenta de que, a pesar de la apertura total a partir del 1 de abril, se siguen restringiendo las procesiones religiosas en vía pública”, declaró Lisandra Chaves, vocera de la Conferencia Episcopal.
“Por esa razón, la Conferencia Episcopal envió una nueva carta al ministro de Salud, pidiendo se reconsidere esa decisión y se dé la apertura también para que se puedan realizar procesiones durante la próxima Semana Santa”, agregó.
