¿Está quebrada la CCSS? Esto responde el presidente Rodrigo Chaves
“No es por rajar, pero yo saqué un doctorado en Economía, sé de lo que hablo”, manifestó el presidente de la República.
En entrevista con Noticias Columbia, el presidente, Rodrigo Chaves, respondió si la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS) está realmente quebrada o no.
“Ese es un tema técnico. Actuarialmente está quebrada porque el valor presente de sus pasivos es mayor que el valor presente de sus flujos de ingreso. No es por rajar, pero yo saqué un doctorado en Economía, sé de lo que hablo”, explicó.
“Actuarialmente está quebrada por definición porque los pasivos son mayores que los flujos de ingreso y por lo tanto tiene posición patrimonial negativa y eso quiere decir que debe más plata de la que tiene y la que va a tener entonces la pregunta no es que esté quebrada es qué hace usted con eso”, agregó.
El mandatario indicó que sueña con darle una nueva cara a la CCSS.
“En el mundo comercial, si una empresa está quebrada puede pasar por liquidación o por reestructuración. Yo quiero reestructurar la Caja, yo quiero que la Caja deje de hacer esas listas de espera. Y cambié al presidente, a don Álvaro Ramos, sí. Por diferencias en su estilo gerencial, en sus objetivos, etcétera. Le tengo mucho respeto, es uno de los hombres más inteligentes que he conocido en Costa Rica, brillante”, dijo.
“Pero simplemente él tiene una visión que no es compatible con la mía y puse a quien yo creo que es una extraordinaria gerente, mujer valiente doña Marta Eugenia Esquivel que está haciendo cosas muy bonitas”, finalizó.
