Disminución del polvo del Sahara provocará aumento de lluvias al inicio de esta semana

Al salir de su casa no olvide la sombrilla o bien el paraguas ya que, de acuerdo con el Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN), este lunes disminuirá la presencia de la nube de polvo del Sahara lo que provocará un aumento en las condiciones lluviosas.
En las zonas del Pacífico y el Valle Central se presentaron condiciones despejadas y ventosas durante este fin de semana, debido a la masa de polvo que impidió que la onda tropical 22 tuviera efecto sobre el país.
La meteoróloga Gabriela Chinchilla explicó el pronóstico del tiempo para este inicio de semana.
“Para este 1° de agosto de 2022 estamos esperando que el polvo del Sahara se mantenga sobre el norte del país durante la mañana empezando a disminuir hacia la tarde, lo cual dará paso a una mayor cobertura de nubes en este periodo y propiciando lluvias aisladas en el Caribe y Zona Norte así como en las cordilleras del Valle Central y de forma mucho más aislada en la Vertiente del Pacífico”, indicó.
Y… ¿Cómo estará el clima en el mes de agosto?
“El mes de agosto es un mes de transición que no solamente marca el inicio de la segunda parte de la temporada lluviosa en la Vertiente del Pacífico si no también el comienzo de un periodo relativamente seco en las partes bajas de la región Caribe. Este cambio se registra por lo general a partir del 15 de agosto ya que todavía en la primera quincena se pueden presentar condiciones similares a las de julio entre ellas un segundo veranillo en la zona del Pacífico denominado segunda canícula”, explicó Chinchilla.
“También en este mes se inicia la parte más activa de la temporada de ciclones tropicales del Atlántico”, agregó.
