Deneishaly, la niña que sufrió racismo en kínder de Aserrí recibe un emotivo homenaje
La pequeña fue agasajada por parte de fuerzas vivas de Limón y de otras provincias del país.
Deneishaly Mc Dougall, la niña de cinco años quien fue blanco de comentarios racistas, según denunciaron familiares y presentes, en un acto cívico para celebrar la inauguración del curso lectivo en una escuela ubicada en Aserrí, el pasado 8 de febrero, recibió un emotivo homenaje el miércoles anterior.
De acuerdo con Denisha MacDougall, madre de la estudiante, la maestra Vivian Madrigal Mora pronunció las siguientes palabras en el acto cívico de la Escuela Manuel Hidalgo Mora: “Por favor no traigan a sus hijos con rastas (sic) ni dreads, aquí no estamos en Limón es Aserrí, ni mucho menos traigan a sus hijas con el poco de cosas en el pelo”.
A raíz de la polémica que se generó, el Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP) separó momentáneamente a la educadora de su cargo y el caso se encuentra en investigación.
Según informó el medio AmeliaRueda.com fuerzas vivas de Limón así como de otras provincias se dieron cita a las 9:30 a. m. en el Parque de Aserrí, desde donde caminaron hasta las afueras de centro educativo mencionado para esperar a Deneishaly.
Luego de que se diera a conocer la noticia trascendió que la pequeña no quería volver a clases, incluso le solicitó a su mamá un corte de cabello para sentirse aceptada. Sin embargo, gracias al apoyo de la familia y allegados, Deneishaly, regresó al kínder.
La pequeña fue agasajada por parte de fuerzas vivas de Limón y de otras provincias del país quienes con cánticos, bailes y presentes mostraron su apoyo a la menor.
“Ha sido hermoso todo esto, nos avisaron esta semana que se habían organizado varias personas, líderes de distintas comunidades, entre todos hicieron el esfuerzo y recibieron el apoyo de la autobusera Caribeños, que donó el traslado (…) para nosotros y para la chiquita pues ha sido un día muy bonito, ella ya está más tranquila y hoy ha disfrutado mucho, yo digo que hay que seguir adelante con esta lucha”, declaró la madre de la niña a AmeliaRueda.com.
“Yo rescato cosas buenas que han pasado, por ejemplo, la chiquita que le hacía más bullying a mi hija hace unos días se le acercó y le pidió disculpas, porque los papás se sentaron con ella, analizaron todo y ahora la chiquita es otra en cuanto al cambio de actitud, imagínese cómo me puedo sentir yo de que haya mentalidades de niños tan pequeños que han aprendido a raíz de este problema, se han concientizado y pienso que serán niños y personas distintos tras esta vivencia», reflexionó Denisha.
La pequeña se mostró muy emocionada y contenta con los regalos que le dieron entre ellos: abalorios, lazos, coloridas gorras y un paquete de prensitas de colores.
