Cae funcionario del MEP por robo de 51 computadoras en un colegio de Heredia
El sospechoso fue detenido tras un allanamiento a su vivienda en Alajuela.
La mañana de este jueves 17 de agosto, agentes del Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) dieron con la detención de un funcionario administrativo del Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP) tras ser sospechoso de sustraer varios bienes del Colegio Técnico Profesional de San Pedro de Barva, Heredia.
De acuerdo con las autoridades el hombre se habría robado 51 computadoras y una cámara fotográfica de la institución.
Según trascendió, el MEP y la dirección del propio colegio habían interpuesto la denuncia ante las autoridades judiciales tras percatarse del robo cometido por el sospechoso.
“Se procedió de forma inmediata a poner la denuncia correspondiente a las instancias judiciales y el departamento de régimen disciplinario para su debida investigación y realizar así las acciones legales y administrativas que correspondan, en este caso las denuncias fueron presentadas por la directora del CTP y la presidenta de la Junta Administrativa”, detalló Ariel Méndez, supervisor de la Dirección Regional de Heredia.
Trascendió que al sujeto también le habían abierto un proceso en el departamento del Régimen Disciplinario del MEP por ausencias, esto debido a que desde que ocurrió el hecho, el funcionario no se presentó a su lugar de trabajo y tampoco había dado alguna incapacidad para justificar sus faltas.
“El funcionario señalado no se ha presentado al centro educativo, por lo que ya se inició también con el proceso de ausentismo ante las instancias correspondientes del MEP desde esta regional y esta supervisión estaremos brindando seguimiento y acompañamiento a todo lo que tiene que ver con el proceso”, agregó el supervisor.
Tras la detención Miranda fue puesto a la orden del Juzgado Penal para la solicitud de medidas cautelares.
