Andrea Álvarez asegura que el Ministerio de Salud se presta para los “juegos de poder” de Rodrigo Chaves
La diputada del PLN indicó que el cierre de Parque Viva es “un acto de revancha” del presidente de la República contra Grupo Nación.
Este viernes la administración del presidente Rodrigo Chaves Robles suspendió el permiso sanitario de funcionamiento del Parque Viva, centro de eventos propiedad de Grupo Nación que se encuentra ubicado en La Guácima de Alajuela.
Ante el anuncio, la diputada del Partido Liberación Nacional (PLN), Andrea Álvarez Marín, arremetió contra el Ejecutivo y aseguró que la decisión “pone en riesgo el sistema democrático”.
“Debo levantar la voz en defensa de la libertad, de las personas, de la libre empresa y del sistema democrático en un país que ha sido ejemplo en el mundo del respeto y la tolerancia La decisión de la administración Chaves Robles de cerrar Parque Viva pone en riesgo esos valores costarricenses. No hay duda de que es un acto de revancha contra un medio de comunicación, que inició a media semana con la denuncia irresponsable de una “eventual” morosidad y culmina hoy con un acto propio de una tiranía”, expresó la congresista por medio de un comunicado de prensa.
“En campaña, el hoy presidente siendo candidato, adelantó que haría cosas como éstas, pero siempre lo atribuimos a los discursos politiqueros y populistas. Hoy vemos que sí era cierto al verlos materializados. Podemos estar o no de acuerdo con las posturas de un medio de comunicación, pero el respeto a discrepar debe prevalecer, sin que se utilice el poder para coaccionar”, agregó la liberacionista.
Álvarez también reprochó que la cartera de Salud apoyara la determinación de cerrar Parque Viva.
“También levanto la voz como salubrista pública y como una persona que ha tenido un respeto histórico al Ministerio de Salud de este país. Resulta inaceptable que este ministerio se preste para estos actos. Siempre se había caracterizado por ser un órgano técnico de alto nivel, nunca un brazo de la presidencia para sus juegos de poder”, dijo.
“Como ciudadana y diputada repudio este acto e invito a que todas las personas levantemos nuestra voz. Hoy fue un medio de comunicación; mañana podrán ser nuestros derechos y libertades, incluidos los derechos y libertades de las personas que hoy defienden a este presidente”, finalizó.
La inhabilitación temporal de las actividades masivas en el centro de entretenimiento fue recomendada por El Ministerio de Salud, la Comisión Nacional de Emergencias (CNE) , el Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (MOPT), la Dirección de Bomberos y la Cruz Roja Costarricense (CRC), como instituciones encargadas de las concentraciones masivas.
