Segunda ola de COVID-19 golpea con fuerza a países europeos
Rusia registró su peor balance diario de víctimas. Italia y Francia aplican restricciones más duras para contener la pandemia.
La segunda ola del coronavirus golpea con fuerza en varios países europeos, como Rusia, donde se registra un nuevo récord de contagios, mientras Italia pone en marcha más medidas restrictivas y Francia se dispone a adoptar otras nuevas.
Además, el Consejo de la Unión Europea atendió este martes 13 de octubre una “recomendación” para que los Estados miembros basen sus restricciones a los viajes dentro de la UE en función de la situación epidemiológica que incluye un código de colores por zonas.
“Esta recomendación tiene como objetivo evitar la fragmentación y la disrupción y aumentar la transparencia y la previsibilidad para los ciudadanos y las empresas”, indicó el Consejo en un comunicado.
Alemania
La cifra de nuevos contagios diarios rebasó este martes los 4.000 casos en Alemania, en medio de un fuerte debate por la prohibición de algunos poderes regionales a los viajeros de zonas de riesgo del país de pernoctar en su territorio. Mientras que el número de víctimas mortales en 24 horas fue de 13, lo que sitúa la cifra de fallecidos total en 9.634, con 329.453 infecciones.
La aceleración de los contagios registrada la semana pasada ha derivado en nuevas restricciones en las regiones de mayor incidencia. El sábado se superaron los 4.700 contagios en 24 horas, el máximo diario desde mediados de abril.
Rusia
Rusia ha registrado un nuevo récord de contagios diarios de COVID-19 con 13.868 casos en las últimas 24 horas, en las que se produjeron 244 fallecimientos, según informaron hoy las autoridades sanitarias del país. Pese al gran aumento del número de casos en las últimas semanas, el Gobierno ruso se resiste a adoptar medidas estrictas a nivel nacional como la de confinar a la población o de paralizar determinadas actividades económicas.
Italia
Los nuevos casos de coronavirus en Italia, cerca de 5.500 diarios, empiezan a preocupar por lo que el Gobierno decretó algunas nuevas medidas como el cierre de restaurantes a medianoche, y a las 21.00 horas en caso de que no haya servicio en mesa, sobre todo dirigidas a limitar las aglomeraciones fuera de los locales, consideradas uno de los mayores focos de contagio. La medida más sorprendente y la que más reacciones negativas está produciendo es la prohibición de los clásicos “partidillos” de deportes de contacto, como el fútbol o el baloncesto, entre amigos durante la semana.
Estará prohibido además celebrar fiestas privadas en lugares públicos y discotecas, tanto al aire libre como en interior. Sí se pueden celebrar fiestas como bautizos o bodas en restaurantes, así como funerales, pero con no más de 30 personas.
Polonia
En las últimas 24 horas se registraron 5.068 nuevos contagios, informaron las autoridades sanitarias del país. El sábado se notificaron 5.300 casos de SARS-CoV-2, la más alta marca en un día en toda la pandemia y el cuarto máximo diario consecutivo. En total se han verificado en el país 135.278 contagios y 3.101 muertos. Las cifras de la última semana indican una rápida aceleración.
Francia
El presidente francés, Emmanuel Macron, prepara este martes con su Gobierno nuevas medidas restrictivas, entre las que puede estar algún tipo de toque de queda nocturno en las zonas más afectadas. Macron intervendrá en televisión a las 20.00 locales (18.00 GMT), en el horario de máxima audiencia.
España
En España, el ministro de Sanidad, Salvador Illa, aseguró que no se dan las circunstancias para levantar el estado de alarma vigente desde el viernes pasado en la Comunidad de Madrid, como piden las autoridades de esta región, porque tendría que bajar la incidencia “muchísimo más”, por debajo de 200 casos por 100.000 habitantes, “idealmente alrededor” de 100. El ministro insistió en justificar el estado de alarma para dar cobertura jurídica y certeza a las medidas de confinamiento perimetral de nueve municipios de la comunidad, entre ellos la capital, con más de 4,5 millones de habitantes.
