Rescatistas hallan los posibles restos del sumergible Titán cerca de las ruinas del Titanic
Un robot en la zona de búsqueda del Titán ha encontrado ‘restos’ posibles del sumergible cerca del Titanic. Los rescatistas creen que incluso sea imposible recuperarlos por la gran profundidad en la que se encuentran.
Los posibles restos del sumergible Titán desaparecido el domingo con cinco personas a bordo cuando se dirigía a visitar los restos del Titanic en el Atlántico Norte fueron encontrados por un robot en la zona de búsqueda, informaron este jueves los guardacostas estadounidenses.
«Un campo de restos fue descubierto en la zona de búsqueda por un ROV (vehículo de control remoto) cerca del Titanic», informó la Guardia Costera en su cuenta en Twitter. «Los expertos del mando unificado están evaluando la información», agregó.

La Guardia Costera de EE.UU. tiene previsto dar una rueda de prensa este mismo jueves a las 2 de la tarde hora Perú para ofrecer más detalles. Por el momento, algunos expertos consideran que son «un marco de aterrizaje y una cubierta trasera del sumergible».
Es casi seguro que es Titán
Aún a la espera la confirmación oficial, estos restos pueden pertenecer al sumergible que, ante las grandes presiones existentes a más de 4 km de profundidad, pudo haber implosionado.
A estas profundidades, la presión del agua sobre el sumergible es de 420 kilos por cada centímetro cuadrado aproximadamente. Debido a que se necesitaba una grieta mínima en la fibra de carbono del submarino, esta era en una posibilidad latente.
Una implosión es un proceso físico en el que un objeto se colapsa o se contrae hacia su propio centro bajo la acción de fuerzas externas o internas.
En la búsqueda están participando efectivos y recursos de EE.UU., Canadá, Francia y el Reino Unido, con aviones, embarcaciones y drones submarinos
Si la nave está en el fondo del océano, sería casi imposible de rescatar, dicen los expertos consultados por Reuters. Nisiquiera los submarinos tienen la capacidad de remolcar el sumergible.
