¡Princesa Sofía de Suecia limpia baños y sirve comida en hospital por COVID!
En Suecia la realeza le entra con todo para ayudar a los enfermos de COVID-19.
El Hospital Sophiahemmet, en la ciudad de Estocolmo, capital de Suecia, no ha sido atendido solo por enfermeros y doctores durante esta pandemia. También, dentro de las labores que se han tenido que hacer en esta época, ha participado la Princesa Sofía Cristina, quien desde el 2016 es presidenta honoraria del nosocomio.
La televisora local SVT publicó una nota en al cuál se relata los trabajos que ha desempeñaron algunos integrantes de la familia real, destacando a la Princesa Sofía por las actividades que realiza, ayudando cocinar y a la limpieza de las instalaciones del hospital como pasillos y sanitarios.
“Sentí que tenía que colaborar de la manera que pudiera”, dijo Sofía, quien ayuda en actividades del nosocomio desde el mes de abril pasado, mes en el que la emergencia sanitaria comenzó a pegar con fuerza en el Continente Europeo.
La Princesa Sofía tuvo COVID
La princesa Sofía se contagió de coronavirus hace unas semanas junto a su marido, el príncipe Carlos Felipe, y se estima que ambos podrían haber contraído la enfermedad a causa del trabajo de la princesa en el hospital.
De acuerdo a datos de la Universidad Johns Hopkins, en Suecia actualmente hay registrados 367 mil 120 casos confirmados y 7 mil 993 fallecimientos, número que representa apenas el 2 por ciento de mortalidad.
