Policías usaron a niña como señuelo para atrapar a pedófilo, pero la descuidaron y abusaron de ella
Los dos oficiales están siendo investigados por su responsabilidad en el caso.
Dos policías están siendo investigados luego que utilizaran a una menor de edad como señuelo para atrapar a un pedófilo, quien terminó abusando de la adolescente, en Taiwán.
La víctima fue identificada como una niña de 13 años, quien acudió hasta la policía luego que un hombre al que conoció en una aplicación intentara chantajearla.
De acuerdo a lo recogido por BBC, la operación resultó fallida, puesto que la menor de edad terminó siendo abusada sexualmente.
Esto porque tras aceptar ser parte de la operación , acordó encontrarse con el sujeto en un McDonald’s, donde fue descuidada por la policía, ya que terminó abordando el vehículo del atacante, quien condujo unos 300 metros y la atacó sexualmente.
Si bien el incidente se registró en noviembre de 2020 en Taoyuan, la agresión sexual se reportó durante el juicio en contra del hombre de apellido Chang, quien terminaría siendo declarado culpable y condenado a ocho años de prisión.
Por otra parte, se inició una investigación en contra de los dos oficiales de la comisaría de Zhongli, por varias infracciones, entre las que se incluye el incumplimiento del deber como funcionarios públicos.
En medio de las diligencias, se les apartó parcialmente de sus funciones, dado que solo están cumpliendo labores administrativas.
