Pánico en montaña rusa: ocho personas quedaron colgadas boca abajo durante varias horas
Bomberos tuvieron que rescatar a los pasajeros que se encontraban suspendidos boca abajo, luego de que la montaña rusa se detuviera a unos 40 metros de altura por una falla. Todo quedó en video.
Un tremendo susto se llevaron varias personas que el pasado fin de semana estaban en una montaña rusa cuando de pronto esta se detuvo a medio camino. Ocho pasajeros quedaron colgados boca abajo durante unas tres horas.
El hecho se registró en un parque de diversiones de la ciudad de Crandon en el estado de Wisconsin (EE. UU.), donde varias personas grabaron los momentos de angustia de los afectados y cómo fue el rescate a unos 40 metros de altura.
Unas 50 personas intervinieron para lograr poner a salvo a los ocho pasajeros que se encontraban atrapados en la montaña rusa. Contaron con la ayuda de al menos dos vehículos escalera, otros diez de bomberos y nueve ambulancias.

“Hubo una falla mecánica en la atracción que la dejó atascada en posición vertical. La atracción fue inspeccionada recientemente por el estado de Wisconsin”, dijo el capitán del cuerpo de bomberos Brennan Cook en diálogo con el medio WJFW.
Asistentes al parque Forest County Festival registraban expectantes las labores de rescate de los afectados, trabajo comandado por un veterano especialista en rescate con cuerdas. Las imágenes, no aptas para cardiacos, se hicieron virales en redes sociales.
Luego del rescate, los afectados fueron trasladados a un centro asistencial para ser evaluados por consecuencias adversas en vista de la cantidad de tiempo que permanecieron expuestos al sol y en posición boca abajo, informó El Universal.

De acuerdo con las autoridades, el incidente se produjo por la activación del freno de emergencia debido a una falla en el recorrido de la montaña rusa.
