Padre a cargo de 6 niños lamenta la muerte de uno por comer basura: “No tengo qué darles”
El hecho que acabó con la vida del menor ocurrió en Maturín, capital del estado Monagas, en Venezuela. El padre, Rudy Arzolar, llora por la pérdida de su hijo y clama por ayuda.
Rudy Jose Arzolar Olivero es el padre de seis hijos, ahora cinco, los cuales viven en una situación de extrema pobreza, alimentándose de lo que encuentren en la basura y cubriendo sus cuerpos con lo que sirva para abrigarlos en las impetuosas calles de Venezuela.
Rudy lamenta la pérdida de Manuel Arzolar, su hijo de 12 años que, al buscar con qué calmar su hambre, hurgó entre los desperdicios y comió lo que iba hallando, sin saber que aquello podría acabar con su vida.
“Yo soy padre y madre a la vez para ellos. La mamá murió. Espero que me ayuden. No tengo qué darles. No hay trabajo. Lo que conseguimos es para medio comer. Vivimos en el botadero y ahí ellos meten la mano y yo también. De ahí comemos. Ahí fue que el niño agarró algo y comió”, expresó.
A su vez, este preocupado padre clama por ayuda para cambiar su situación y que algo similar no les ocurra a sus otros hijos. Entre llantos, intenta apelar al lado más humano de las personas a las que llegue su testimonio.
Este caso fue recogido por la Fundación Cuidarte, la cual busca ayudar a esta familia que, según comentan, no cuentan con los medios necesarios para enterrar al menor.
“A las personas, instituciones que puedan ayudar a esta familia que no tienen el mínimo recurso para enterrar al pequeño y tampoco para comer ni cubrir tan solo las necesidades básicas. Estaremos enormemente agradecidos”, agregaron.
