Mató a su esposa y a su hija autista: lo justificó diciendo que eran de su propiedad
Cuando el asesino descubrió que su esposa le era infiel con un compañero de trabajo, decidió matarla y después a su hija menor de edad. A pesar de que quiso suicidarse, pudo sobrevivir y ahora pasará un mínimo de 40 años en prisión.
Un hombre pasará un mínimo de 40 años de prisión por estrangular a su esposa y apuñalar hasta la muerte a su hija autista no verbal.
Peter Nash, de 47 años, se enteró que su esposa, Jillu Nash, le había sido infiel con un compañero de trabajo y la mató en septiembre pasado dentro de su casa en Suffolk, Reino Unido, contó Metro.
Al momento de ser sentenciado este miércoles, el juez Edward Murray le dijo al asesino que, “aunque tenga una larga vida, es muy probable que muera en prisión”.
Intentó suicidarse
Tras el ataque a sus familiares, el sentenciado intentó quitarse la vida y asesinar a su hija Louise de 12 años por medio una intoxicación de gas.
Sin embargo, cuando no pudo hacerlo, el hombre apuñaló a la menor en el estómago, antes de clavarse varias veces el cuchillo en el pecho.
La pequeña no sobrevivió al ataque, mientras que el homicida no cumplió su cometido de suicidarse.
Cuando Jillu, de 43 años, no llegó a trabajar, su amante Mark Leamey llamó a las autoridades, debido a que tampoco le había contestado varios mensajes durante la noche anterior.
Argumentó haberlas “matado legalmente”
A pesar de la gravedad de lo ocurrido, Nash quiso representarse a sí mismo durante el juicio, en el que argumentó que, debido a la infidelidad probada de su esposa, las había “matado legalmente porque eran de su propiedad”.
Incluso añadió que a Louise la había asesinado para protegerla, debido a que no confiaba en nadie más para cuidarla y atender las necesidades complejas debido al autismo no verbal que le había sido diagnosticado.
Como respuesta, un portavoz de la policía de Sussex dijo ante el jurado que los intentos de Nash para justificar lo que había hecho partían desde una interpretación equivocada “de la ley común, la propiedad y los votos matrimoniales”.
“Un monstruo humano”
Ante el jurado y desconsolada, Dhruti Shah compareció para hablar sobre lo ocurrido con su hija y su nieta, mientras intentaba contener las lágrimas, indicó Daily Mail.
A Jillu la describió como una “madre brillante de hermosa sonrisa y con una actitud positiva ante la vida” que siempre quiso lo mejor para su pequeña.
Por su parte, Shah aseguró que su nieta era una “joven feliz y alegre que inspiraba gran afecto a todos los que la conocían”.
Además, la mujer se dirigió contra el asesino, a quien describió como “un monstruo humano viviente” que tomó la vida de las víctimas como “si fueran unos juguetes”.
Lejos de conmoverse, el condenado se burló de quien fuera su suegra y le aseguró que él había conocido mejor que ella a las víctimas.
Al ser sentenciado, Nash no mostró ninguna reacción visible y se alejó con ayuda de su andador para bajar a las celdas, mientras los familiares de las víctimas no dejaban de llorar en el tribunal.
