Mark Zuckerberg acepta pelear ‘en una jaula de acero’ contra Elon Musk
Elon Musk retó a Mark Zuckerberg pelear en una jaula. El CEO de Meta ha aceptado y ha pedido la ubicación del lugar para realizarlo. El duelo, aunque pareciera una broma, tiene su contexto: el mercado de Twitter.
Una serie de publicaciones y mensajes entre los millonarios tecnológicos Elon Musk y Mark Zuckerberg parecen confirmar un suceso que, si se realiza, sería realmente una atracción: una pelea entre ambos personajes en una jaula de acero.
El dueño de Twitter y el dueño de Facebook han cruzado palabras a través de sus propias redes sociales. E incluso la madre del «technoking» ha pedido a su hijo que no prosiga en esta idea.
Musk fue el primero en lanzar el puñal: “estoy listo para un combate en jaula si él lo está”.

Zuckerberg, un aficionado a las artes marciales (incluso con algunas medallas en su haber), tomó capturas de esta conversación y respondió: “Envíame la ubicación”.
Elon Musk, fiel a su estilo, volvió a responder: “Te espero en el octógono de Las Vegas”. “Tengo un gran movimiento que llamo ‘La Morsa’, donde simplemente me acuesto sobre mi oponente y no hago nada”.

Un vocero de la compañía incluso señaló que Zuckerberg “no está bromeando sobre la oferta”.
Pero esta posible pelea tiene un contexto de lucha, pero en las redes sociales: Meta quiere realmente competir contra Twitter creando su propia versión.
Twitter vs. Threads
No es un secreto que Meta está trabajando en una aplicación muy similar en funcionamiento a Twitter.
Proyecto 92, Barcelona y ahora Threads. La empresa quiere que esta aplicación empiece a llenar las expectativas de los múltiples usuarios decepcionados con la dirección de Twitter cuando Elon Musk era el CEO.
Threads está muy enfocado a estar relacionado con Instagram, intentando así gozar de una popularidad con los más jóvenes. Desde las credenciales de inicio o nombres de usuarios se sincronizarán con esta plataforma, buscando consolidarse fuertemente desde el principio de sus operaciones.
En una presentación interna a trabajadores, The Verge señala que el ejecutivo Chris Cox llamó a Threads “nuestra respuesta a Twitter”.
“Hemos escuchado de creadores y figuras públicas que están interesadas en tener una plataforma que es sanamente manejada, que crean en la que pueden confiar y en la cual apoyarse para distribuir su contenido”, dijo el especialista.
Musk, y su nueva CEO Linda Yaccarino, están al tanto de estos movimientos. El primero ha iniciado comentarios en doble sentido sobre Zuckerberg, mientras que Yaccarino señala que “el juego está en marcha”.
