Linda Yaccarino será la nuevo CEO de Twitter que reemplazará a Elon Musk
Tras el anuncio de la dimisión de Elon Musk a su cargo en Twitter, ya se conoce a la persona que dirigirá la red social con millones de usuarios en todo el mundo.
El último jueves, el multimillonario Elon Musk anunció que, tal como lo había prometido, dejará el cargo como máximo jefe de Twitter en las próximas semanas, mas no reveló el nombre de la persona que lo reemplazará. No obstante, según una reciente información de Bloomberg, Linda Yaccarino acaba de dejar su puesto como jefa de publicidad global en NBCUniversal para asumir las riendas de la red social.
Horas más tarde, el propio Elon Musk, a través de su cuenta de Twitter, confirmó a la famosa publicista como la nueva CEO del famoso servicio de microblogueo. “Estoy muy emocionado de dar la bienvenida a Linda Yaccarino”, publicó.
Asimismo, el multimillonario empresario tecnológico aclaró que Linda Yaccarino se centrará en las operaciones comerciales, mientras que él se encargará del diseño de productos y nuevas tecnologías. “Espero trabajar con Linda para transformar esta plataforma en X, la app para todo”, expresó Elon Musk.
Como se sabe, unas de las principales intenciones de Elon Musk es crear una plataforma para todo, tal como ocurre con WeChat en China y gran parte del continente asiático. Incluso, el también dueño de Tesla y Space X ya ha optado por incluir pronto la función de videollamadas en Twitter.
Respecto a la nueva CEO de Twitter, si bien Yaccarino no es muy conocida en la industria tecnológica, lo cierto es que se ha desempeñado en roles importantes en el mundo de la publicidad. Desde 2011, ocupaba el cargo de responsable de publicidad global de NBC Universal Media, donde logró acuerdos comerciales por más de 100.000 millones de dólares.
