Hombre dejó sola a su mamá en la selva del Darién: ‘Para mí estaba muerta’
Según su relato, la mujer se cayó por un barranco en el Darién y él no logró cargarla: ‘No pude aguantarla en los brazos porque perdí la fuerza. Cuando llegué abajo, estaba inconsciente’.
El pasado martes, 22 de agosto, se volvió viral en redes sociales el caso de una mujer que habría sido abandonada por su propio hijo en la selva del Darién . Recientemente, el hombre señalado de desamparar a su progenitora se pronunció sobre este caso.
La mujer, de nacionalidad cubana e identificada como Marta León, fue encontrada por un migrante venezolano que transitaba por la zona. Ella tenía una pierna fracturada y debió ser trasladada a un centro asistencial por su deteriorado estado de salud.
Tras la difusión del caso, el sujeto habló con América TeVe y manifestó que nunca abandonó a la mujer.
“Yo duermo arriba de un barranco porque tomé el camino equivocado. Entonces ahí es donde se me cae. Yo no pude aguantarla con los brazos, perdí la fuerza. Cuando yo iba abajo para mí estaba inconsciente, para mí estaba muerta”, expresó.
“Lo que hice fue dejarla al lado del río y seguir caminando. Lloré, grité, nadie pasó en esos momentos. Bueno eso fue lo que pasó, pero yo nunca la abandoné”, dijo.
Entretanto, la hermana del hombre recalcó que su hermano sabía que su madre estaba viva y aún así la dejó a su suerte. Yudith Rejas León hace un llamado al Gobierno de Panamá para que su madre pueda desplazarse a Brasil y allí cuidar de ella.
