En una zona industrial de la ciudad de Raleigh (Carolina del Norte, EE.UU.) las fuerzas de seguridad localizaron el cadáver de una mujer, aparentemente asesinada por su pareja, informaron este sábado medios locales.
Emily Montgomery, de 26 años, madre de un niño de 5 años, fue reportada como desaparecida una jornada antes del Día de Acción de Gracias. De acuerdo al comunicado de prensa de la Policía local, el pasado 25 de noviembre fue la última vez que fue vista en su domicilio, en la ciudad de Apex, en el mismo estado.
El pasado 10 de diciembre, la pareja de Montgomery, José Carlos Jacome-Granizo, de 29 años, fue acusado de asesinato en primer grado. Está a la espera de juicio y, en caso de ser declarado culpable, enfrentará cadena perpetua o la pena de muerte.
