Avistan un extraño fenómeno luminoso con la forma de un anillo rojo en el cielo de Italia
El inusual evento fue probablemente causado por un pulso electromagnético procedente de una tormenta cercana. El anillo rojo debió haber medido unos 360 kilómetros de diámetro, y pudo verse desde varias partes del país.
Un extraño y enorme anillo luminoso de color rojo fue avistado por apenas unos milisegundos en el cielo de varias partes de Italia durante la noche del pasado 27 de marzo, según informaron medios especializados y locales.
No se trata de un objeto volador no identificado, pero sí es algo inusual; Este destello circular es una «emisión de luz y perturbaciones de muy baja frecuencia debidas a fuentes de impulsos electromagnéticos», un fenómeno conocido como Efecto Luminoso Transitorio (TLE, por sus siglas en inglés), según describió el sitio Spaceweather.com.
La imagen del TLE fue capturada por un fotógrafo en el cielo de la ciudad de Possagno, en el norte de Italia, pero debido a su enorme tamaño, de unos 360 kilómetros de diámetro, probablemente pudo verse desde muchas partes del país y parte del mar Adriático.
