Apple pagará hasta 500 millones de dólares por degradar el rendimiento de los iPhone antiguos
Se espera que cada persona afectada, y que se haya registrado antes de octubre de 2020, recibirá unos 65 dólares de Apple.
Los dueños de iPhone afectados por el escándalo “Batterygate” y que presentaron quejas empezarán a recibir unos 65 dólares de Apple luego de que un juez desestimó el último recurso de dos personas que aseguraron fueron afectadas.
Apple pagará hasta unos 500 millones de dólares (dependiendo de cuántas quejas sean aprobadas) resultado de una demanda colectiva, una suma que aceptó en 2020.

Apple confirmó que sí reducía el rendimiento de los celulares, pero para evitar que la batería se descargue rápido a medida que esta se degradaba.
¿Quiénes recibirán el dinero?
Alrededor de 3 millones de personas presentaron quejas hasta la fecha límite del 6 de octubre de 2020.
También se tomará en cuenta a los dueños de iPhone 7 y iPhone 7 Plus con iOS 11.2 antes de finales de 2017.
