Londres y el Reino Unido atraviesan críticos momentos, luego de que el gobierno británico anunciara que la nueva cepa del covid-19, una más contagiosa, está arrasando con esa nación.
La imposición del Reino Unido de cerrar Londres ante la propagación de la nueva cepa del Covid-19, la cual es un 70 por ciento más peligrosa de la cual ya golpeó a todo el planeta, provocó la saturación de una estación de trenes en la capital británica, momentos antes de que la ciudad cerrara y la gente pudiera “escapar”.
Un video grabado en la estación internacional de trenes St. Pancras en Londres, captó la peligrosa aglomeración de cientos de personas esperando los últimos trenes para abandonar la ciudad, lo cual ha encendido las alarmas, no solo por el tremendo riesgo que ello representó, sino porque la gente se desplazó a otras ciudades tanto en el Inglaterra como en otros países, lo cual puede desatar la propagación de la nueva cepa.

El video fue registrado por la periodista Harriet Clugston, quien además de twittear acerca del momento que vivió en la estación, aceptó que tanto ella como las personas que se encontraban en el lugar “tomaron una decisión equivocada, desesperada y arriesgada”, dadas las circunstancias que atraviesa el Reino Unido.
Sin embargo, se justificó señalando que tenía que ir con su madre, quien vivía sola.
Además, de acuerdo a la periodista, también se registraron estampidas para tomar los últimos trenes, ante la desesperación de salir de Londres antes de que cerraran la capital británica.
