A seis años de la muerte de Gabriel Badilla, Fabiola Herra y sus hijas lo recuerdan
El ex jugador falleció de un paro cardíaco cuando a falta de 200 metros para llegar a la meta de la competición “Lindora Run” se desvaneció.
La periodista Fabiola Herra, recordó a quien fuera su esposo, el exfutbolista Gabriel Badilla, a seis años de su fallecimiento.
En una fotografía que publicó en las historias de Instagram se ve a las dos hijas de “El Gladiador” Lucía, de 15 años, y Sofía de 10 años posando con un ramo de flores en Jardines del Recuerdo, donde descansan las cenizas del futbolista.
“Siempre en sus corazones”, escribió la periodista junto a la imagen de sus hijas.

La periodista y el jugador se casaron el 28 de octubre del 2006 y fruto del amor que se tuvieron nacieron sus dos hijas, luego se distanciaron y Badilla inició otra relación.
Gabriel Badilla Segura, una leyenda del Deportivo Saprissa, falleció el 20 de noviembre del 2016, mientras participaba en la carrera en Lindora Run. Un paro cardiorrespiratorio acabó con su vida.
Ese día, la periodista se encontraba de paseo en Europa, celebrando su cumpleaños, cuando se enteró de la noticia, hizo hasta lo imposible por llegar rápido a Costa Rica, pero varias situaciones atrasaron su regreso.
En medio de la desesperación, Fabiola, publicó un vídeo en Facebook, implorando a los familiares de Badilla que la esperaran para poder comunicarle a sus hijas sobre el deceso de su padre.
Todo el país se solidarizó con Herra, incluso el influencer Destino y Adal Ramones ofrecieron su ayuda, pero no pudo llegar a tiempo para despedir a quien legalmente era su esposo.
En varias ocasiones, la carismática periodista ha publicado mensajes recordando al futbolista junto a sus hijas, para que ellas mantengan vivo el amor, recuerdo y cariño hacia su padre.
