Cuándo será el eclipse lunar que se verá en Costa Rica y en qué horario alcanzará su máximo esplendor
El evento ocurrirá el próximo 8 de noviembre.
Costa Rica es unos de los países en los que se podrá observar el eclipse total de luna que ocurrirá el próximo martes 8 de noviembre.
De acuerdo con la página web de la Fundación Cientec la fase parcial iniciará a las 2:00 a.m. y el máximo del eclipse total será alrededor de las 5:00 a.m.
“Para Costa Rica, la Luna se pondrá en la madrugada cuando todavía está en totalidad, pero habrá tiempo para apreciarla conforme se interna parcialmente en la sombra de la Tierra y luego se sumerge totalmente con su coloración rojiza”, explica la fundación.
“Según Fred Espenak este eclipse sucede 5,8 días antes de que la Luna alcance su apogeo. En este momento se encuentra con la constelación de Aries de fondo. El eclipse es parte del ciclo 136 de Saros, siendo el número 20 de 72 eclipses que componen esta serie”, agrega la página de Cientec.

Inicia Eclipse penumbral: 2:02 a.m. (difícil de observar)
Inicia el Eclipse parcial: 3:09 a.m.
Inicia Eclipse total: 4:16 a.m.
Máximo del Eclipse: 4:59 a.m. (La Luna estará en su máxima cercanía al centro de la sombra terrestre.)
Se pone la Luna (ocaso): 5:32 a.m.
El próximo eclipse lunar total ocurrirá el 14 de marzo de 2025, aunque se continuarán viendo eclipses lunares parciales y penumbrales durante ese tiempo.
