Tras la derrota en Puntarenas, el presidente de Cartago dio su opinión acerca de Wanchope
Los blanquiazules llevan tres partidos seguidos sin ver la victoria.
Luego de que este miércoles 8 de febrero, el Club Sport Cartaginés (CSC), cayera 2 por 0 ante el Puntarenas FC, en suelo porteño, muchas personas pusieron en tela de duda la continuidad del técnico brumoso, Paulo César Wanchope.
Esto debido a que los blanquiazules llevan tres partidos seguidos sin ver la victoria y, además, solo en esos ya les han anotado siete goles.
En cuanto al tema de la renovación del contrato del defensor Carlos Barahona, aseguró que el jugador tiene semanas entrenando con regularidad y que pronto volverá a estar con el equipo.
“Nosotros con Carlos hemos tenido una muy buena relación siempre, aquí fue una situación que se nos metió el representante y quiso meterle más de la cuenta a un club que le ha dado a Carlos todo lo que tiene en su carrera deportiva, era una cosa fuera de contexto, pero no lo aceptamos y hoy (miércoles) firmó con las condiciones que le dimos al inicio.
“Carlos entrena con regularidad hace más de un mes y pronto volverá a estar con el club”, expresó.
El próximo juego del CSC, es ante el Saprissa, este lunes 13 de febrero, donde buscarán cortar con la racha negativa que vienen arrastrando.
