Se viene cambio en la Fedefútbol, esté sería el próximo presidente de la Federación
La Unafut oficializó quién sería el próximo presidente del Comité Ejecutivo.
Este miércoles 28 de junio, mediante un comunicado la Unafut oficializó quién será su candidato para el puesto de presidente del Comité Ejecutivo de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol (Fedefútbol), el empresario Osael Maroto, presidente del Sporting FC,
“Por decisión unánime los asambleístas, acordaron darle el apoyo al señor Osael Maroto, presidente de Sporting F.C, como candidato único por parte de la Unafut para la presidencia del Comité Ejecutivo de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol en el próximo periodo”, indicó la Unafut en un comunicado a los medios de comunicación.
Esta noticia llega en un momento en el que la Federación, está pasando por muchos cuestionamientos debido a todo lo que sucede entorno a la crisis deportiva de la Selección Nacional.
Muchas personas le atribuyen a la Fedefútbol y a Rodolfo Villalobos, la culpa del bajo rendimiento de la Tricolor, y la situación que se vive con el técnico Luis Fernando Suárez.
En cuanto a la opción de Maroto como próximo presidente de la Federación, era algo que ya se venía especulando desde hace semanas e incluso Peggy Guillén, gerente general del Municipal Grecia, había adelantado que todos iban a apoyar a un candidato diferente a Villalobos, pero en su momento no quiso revelar el nombre.
El empresario con esto recibió el empuje necesario para lo que seria su nombramiento en el cargo, dado que el actual presidente, Rodolfo Villalobos, al parecer no optará por un tercer periodo en la presidencia de la Fedefútbol, puesto que ocupa desde el 2015.
