Rodolfo Villalobos: “Tenemos que pasar la página de Brasil, ya dejar ese tema de lado”
El presidente de la Fedefutbol hizo un llamado a “olvidar” la proeza de la Tricolor en Brasil 2014.
Cómo olvidar la hazaña que realizó la Selección de Costa Rica en la cita mundialista de Brasil 2014 bajo la direccion de Jorge Luis Pinto. Disputó cinco juegos memorables, avanzó a los cuartos de final, se despidió ante Holanda de manera invicta y ocupó la octava posición entre 32 países.
Pero para el presidente de la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol (FCRF), Rodolfo Villalobos, ya es hora de dejar ese tema atrás, y enfocarse en la Copa Mundial de Catar y escribir una nueva historia.
“Yo creo que tenemos que olvidarnos de Brasil. Este es el mundial de Catar, son selecciones diferentes, jugadores distintos, o sea tenemos que dejar de pensar en Brasil tenemos que concentrarnos en Catar”, manifestó Villalobos a su llegada al Aeropuerto Internacional Juan Santamaría tras la gira del combinado patrio por Asia.
“Está claro que hay jugadores que saben que se puede competir eso se está transmitiendo el técnico quiere ir a competir, pero tenemos que pasar la página de Brasil ya dejar ese tema de lado y enfocarnos en vivir el mundial de Catar porque no podemos jugar Catar pensando en Brasil”, agregó.
