“Me dijo que lo llamaron de la Liga”, Jafet Soto acerca de exjugador Herediano que la Liga quería contratar
Jafet Soto, asegura que el jugador lo llamó para contarle de la propuesta que le realizó la Liga.
Como dirían por ahí, el delantero mexicano Brian Rubio, quedó como un “chismoso”, luego de que Jafet Soto, gerente general del Herediano, lo tirara al agua al revelar que el jugador lo llamó para contarle acerca de un equipo nacional que estaba interesado en sus servicios.
Se trata de la Liga Deportiva Alajuelense, cuadro que en apariencia estuvo interesado en el mexicano a finales del 2022.
Según trascendió en ese momento la Liga le hizo una oferta bastante atractiva al delantero, pero este finalmente terminó firmando con el León de México.
Por su parte, Soto, quien siempre que puede le gusta calentar a sus rivales con declaraciones polémicas, aseguró que el futbolista lo llamó para contarle de la propuesta que le realizó la Liga, estas declaraciones las dio en una entrevista con Teletica Radio, cuando le consultaron por el nivel actual de los extranjeros en el cuadro florense.
“Creo que a Chuy (José de Jesús Godínez) al principio, como a todos, venía en un proceso de acomodo, como le pasó a Brian Rubio, cuando yo lo traje anduvo ahí, igual y luego ya subió. El otro día lo saludé, hablé con él y me dijo que lo llamaron de la Liga, me llamó para contarme eso.
“Ahora ya está en León y me dice, ‘Tu no me querías’. porque yo era el entrenador y casi no lo ponía, Giacone vino y lo puso, por eso decía que su papá es Giacone”, expresó Jafet.
En cuanto al paso de Rubio por el Club Sport Herediano, fue en el 2019.
