¡Listo para ganar! Sherman Guity competirá este fin de semana en Italia
El paratleta competirá el viernes en la tarde por los 100m y el domingo en la mañana por los 200m.
Este fin de semana el paratleta costarricense Sherman Güity, competirá en el Grand Prix de Paratletismo en Italia, en Jesolo, Venecia, donde además, de buscar la victoria también tiene un objetivo bastante claro en mente.
Güity, viaja con el deseo de mejorar sus registros en los 100 y 200 metros planos en la categoría T64, según lo contó él mismo este martes, durante su entrenamiento en el Polideportivo Heiner Ugalde, en Hatillo 6,
“Siempre van a escuchar de mi lo mismo, me gusta competir para ganar, pero hoy lo que deseo además es mejorar mis tiempos, especialmente en los 100 metros planos donde quiero ser en algún momento el mejor del mundo”, expresó el costarricense.
En dicha competencia, Sherman, al ganador de la medalla de oro en los Juegos Paralímpicos Tokio 2020 en los 100 metros planos, el alemán Felix Streng.
“Será una competencia más dura que en Dubái, en Italia estará Felix, quien me ganó la final de los 100 metros en Tokio. Va hacer un buen roce, parte de esto es buscar buenas competencias”, agregó Güity
Además, de Sherman, Ernesto “Lobito” Fonseca también representará a Costa Rica en este Grand Prix, esto en las pruebas de 100 metros y 200 metros en Silla de Ruedas deportiva.
En cuanto a las competiciones de Güity serán el viernes en horas de la tarde esto por los 100m y el domingo en la mañana por los 200m (en cuanto a las horas exactas serán confirmadas en las próximas horas), al igual que en el caso del “Lobito” Fonseca.
