Kenneth Tencio buscará este sábado la primera medalla para Costa Rica en Tokyo 2020
El rider nacional competirá en la gran final del ciclismo BMX Freestyle a las 8:20 p.m. (hora tica).
El atleta nacional, Kenneth Tencio, hizo historia este viernes al ser el primer tico en competir en el debut del BMX estilo libre como disciplina en unos Juegos Olímpicos.
El costarricense se posicionó en el sexto lugar para competir en la final que se realizará este sábado 31 de julio a las 8:20 p.m. (hora tica).
Será este sábado cuando el cartaginés muestre sus mejores trucos y brille para conseguir la primera medalla para Costa Rica en Tokyo 2020.
En la primera ronda participaron los mejores nueve riders del mundo. La participación de este viernes fue para definir el orden en el que saldrán a competir hoy.
Cada biker dispone de dos rondas de 60 segundos donde realizan trucos que son calificados tomando en cuenta aspectos como la dificultad, creatividad, uso de la pista y destreza. En total los jueces evalúan 13 puntos diferentes.
De ahí se obtiene un promedio y la nota final.
